Registration & Classes
What age are Little Groove classes designed for?
Little Groove offers music classes for babies, toddlers, and preschoolers. Little Groove Class (our 9:30AM & 10:30AM class times) are geared towards kids 15-months to 4-years. Our Baby Wiggle Class (our 11:30AM class time) is geared towards kids 3-months to 15-months. If your child is right on the border between class ages, we suggest that if they are walking and mobile, join the Little Groove class. If they aren’t mobile yet, we suggest joining the Baby Wiggle class.
Can I join after a session has already started?
Yes! If space is available, families are welcome to join after the session has begun. Tuition will be prorated based on the number of remaining classes. Please email the office at sara@babywiggle.com to see what openings we have.
Can siblings attend together?
Yes. We offer a discounted rate for siblings, and any sibling 6 months or under can attend for free. When registering for a class, adding on a sibling is a given option.
Do I need to bring anything to class?
Families should bring their Little Groove music kit to class. If you are attending a free trial, a loaner kit will be available for you to use. If you are attending an outdoor music class, please bring a picnic blanket or something to sit on. For outdoor classes we also suggest having sunblock and bug spray on hand in case you need it.
If I signed up for a specific class day and time, can I still attend class on a different day or at a different time?
No. We ask that all families who are registered for a specific class day and time attend that specific class only. This helps us maintain capacity and make sure our classes aren’t overfilled. If you need to miss your regular class, you are always welcome to schedule a makeup class using our form.

How will I know if class is moved indoors?
Families will receive a text and email with updated location information before class starts.
Are classes canceled due to weather?
In most cases, classes will move indoors rather than being canceled. If we ever have to cancel a class, we will provide a makeup class option.

What happens if my child cries?
It’s ok. We are a class for kids and we know at times they can get upset or nervous and cry. You are welcome to step away from class for a moment to help your child calm down and join when they are ready. If your child continues to cry in class, please reach out to the office. We are happy to help you find solutions to help your child adjust to class.
What happens if we arrive late?
Our assistants always stay at the door until 15 minutes after class has begun to let any late families into the space. If you arrive later than 15 minutes past when the class started, please call Sara (617-238-4270) and she will help you get into class.
What happens if my child is shy?
We suggest showing up early for class to give your child plenty of time to get comfortable in the space and have some one-on-one time with the teacher.

The teacher may have an extra kit you can borrow for class but it will depend on what is available.
