We are excited to announce that the Charlestown Children’s Choir is launching this fall at Charlestown Music & Art. To make this wonderful program accessible, we are offering five (5) full scholarships.

Why We’re Offering Scholarships
We know that the cost of living in Boston is very high. Even families who earn a significant income sometimes find it difficult to afford extracurricular activities for their children. These scholarships are not based on income—they are designed to open doors for children who might not otherwise be able to join.

Who Can Join
• Age Range: Kindergarten – Grade 6
• No prior singing experience required
• Enthusiasm and interest are what matter most!

Program Details
• Session Dates: Wednesdays, September 17 – October 22
• Time: 5:30 PM (6-week session)
• Location: Charlestown Music & Art, Charlestown, MA (14 Green Street, first floor)
• Tuition (if not awarded a scholarship):
• $180 per student
• $105 per sibling

What Students Will Experience
• Singing popular music, musical theater, and pop-style songs
• Learning healthy vocal techniques (breathing, posture, warm-ups, microphone use)
• Practicing harmony, rounds, and two-part singing
• Performing in a live showcase for family and friends at the end of the session

How to Apply for a Scholarship
Please provide the following:
1. Child’s Name & Grade (K–6)
2. A one-sentence or short paragraph from your child answering:
“Why do you want to be part of the Charlestown Children’s Choir?”
3. Optional: Let us know if your child plays any instruments in addition to singing
